Wouldn’t that mean your viewing parenting from your parents perspective in the first place generation perspectives. They may not be the right perspective but how can we know if that is how we are programed?

Depending on people’s experience. But to understand parenting and even your own parents experience with you is so much clearer when you have your own child. You really begin to understand who or why or what they did and or there strengths and struggles through your own.
